About This Project
3D Maastricht is a pioneering 3D printing studio based in Maastricht, Netherlands, offering professional scanning, printing, and design services to businesses and the creative community. The client required a company profile website that could showcase their portfolio of fabricated works, communicate their service offerings, and serve as a hub for the growing local 3D printing community.
The site was designed and built entirely from scratch, with a portfolio section featuring imagery of completed 3D prints, embedded video lectures given to the 3D community, and links to ongoing community initiatives. A clean, technology-forward aesthetic was chosen to convey precision and innovation.
A full brand identity was also developed for 3D Maastricht. The logo draws directly from Maastricht's civic heraldry — the city's star motif and its traditional red and black palette — reinterpreted with a modern, geometric sensibility to reflect the cutting-edge nature of 3D technology. This gives the brand a strong sense of local identity while projecting a forward-thinking personality.
