About This Project

AIMS (Artificial Intelligence and Memory Studies) is a pioneering interdisciplinary research network based at Nottingham Trent University, bringing together scholars working at the frontier of artificial intelligence and memory studies — exploring how AI systems shape collective memory, how societies remember AI-driven events, and what the intersection of machine learning and humanistic inquiry can produce.

The website was designed and built from scratch as a collaborative research platform, providing shared infrastructure for the network's growing membership. Core features include a research publications section for sharing papers and findings, a news and events feed, project showcase areas, and a member directory connecting researchers within the network and beyond.

As the most recent project in the Docedesign portfolio, AIMS@NTU reflects continued work with the academic memory studies community that has been a cornerstone of the studio's practice since 2017. The platform is designed to grow with the network as AIMS expands its membership and scope.
