Postcolonial Narrations
About This Project
Postcolonial Narrations is an academic conference and forum exploring the narratives, legacies, and cultural memories of colonialism and postcolonial experience. The site serves as the central hub for the ongoing conference series, providing event information and acting as a growing archive of past proceedings.
The website was designed and built from scratch to serve a dual purpose: an active conference portal during event cycles and a scholarly archive between them. The programme and call-for-papers sections are structured for easy updating between conference editions, while the archive sections preserve the intellectual record of past gatherings.
The visual design communicates academic seriousness while remaining accessible to a global, diverse scholarly community — a deliberate choice given the international and interdisciplinary nature of the postcolonial studies field.
